Senior Service Designer
We are looking for experienced and versatile service designers who can help our clients orchestrate their service delivery for optimal customer experience based on customer insights.

You help clients work customer-centrically to optimise services and customer experience—creating holistic value that goes beyond “just beautiful”. You are a strong facilitator, a thoughtful client partner, and someone who can translate insights into opportunities and concepts that teams can implement.
What will you do?
Map insights and foresight across the customer experience
Make complex information transparent and visual across the client organisation
Translate insights into opportunities, concepts and solutions
Co-create with stakeholders across the client’s business to shape propositions and service concepts
Orchestrate backstage processes and frontstage touchpoints for an optimal end-to-end service experience
Ensure smooth handover of concepts to UX/UI designers who take them further
Facilitate workshops and co-creation sessions (content + logistics)
Act as a thought partner for the client, bringing curiosity and CX market awareness
Inspire colleagues and share knowledge; help advance Essense and our clients through craft and vision
What do you bring?
You have a Bachelor or Master degree in Service, Industrial or Interaction Design.
At least 6 years of relevant work experience, preferably at an agency
A passion for making complex situations / information insightful
Analytical ánd creative, with empathic ability and strong communication skills
Demonstrated experience in applying service design methods such as stakeholder maps, journey maps, service scenarios, service blueprints
A strong portfolio that shows your work and results from a range of projects
You can give clients pro-active advice on the best approach for achieving their goals
Capable of planning, managing and executing service design projects, including leadership skills and good stakeholder management
